Walking on the Red Square

Walking on the Red Square

The Red Square is a symbol of Russia. In its architectural ensemble it is considered to be one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Through the ages it changed its name many times and only in the 17th century it received its present name "Krasnaya" - Red, which in old Russian meant - "Beautiful".

I wanted to add a few comments in regard to Arthur’s extraordinary services. I spent a total of 4 weeks in Russia, but only 5 days in Moscow. In that compressed span of time, Arthur was instrumental in exposing me to the very best sights of Moscow. I found his company to rewarding, pleasurable, relaxing, and an excellent guide should you desire a native Muscovite to show you the sights and, of course, the excellent Russian cuisine as well. It was my sincere pleasure to have had Arthur as my personal tour guide, interpreter, driver, and all around companion during my sojourn in Moscow. I could not recommend a better personal tour guide for anyone that desires an excellent introduction to Moscow and all that it offers. Clearly, I would use Arthur’s services again should I return to Moscow. Outstanding job, Arthur!
