Moscow State University
Moscow State University's imposing central building stands on the Sparrow Hills, dominating the campus and overlooking the Luzhniki district of the city. The enormous gothic skyscraper was commissioned by Stalin, along with 6 others dotted across Moscow known as "The Seven Sisters", and was built between 1949 and 1953 on the site, which Ivan the Terrible had deemed "too windy" for construction back in the 16th century. A total of sixty trains were employed to transport the building's steel frame from the eastern Ukrainian city of Dneiperpetrovsk and thousands of forced laborers worked on the building for a period of 4 years, under the ever watchful gaze of Stalin's favorite henchman, Lavrenty Beria.

If you read only one feedback, please read this one. If you don't believe what I write then read the 17 other PAGES(!) of testimonials to this truly great person and his service.
In a desperate hurry to find transportation from SVO airport to the hotel, I found Artur's number on the net. About to board the plane, I called him from London at 11am Russian time. By 6.30pm prompt he was waiting for us to clear passport & customs. An hour later (passport control!!), he was still there waiting patiently. He drove us back to the hotel already pointing out sites and facts on the way. Our Moscow experience had begun!!!!
Over the next few days, he gave us a personal, professional service like I have never experienced in my life. He was always early (even at 4.30 in the morning for our return pick up), always smiling, flexible, thoughtful, knowledgeable, passionate, courteous and hilariously funny.
He is a guide, a driver, a friend.
Please, don’t look anywhere else. Artur is Moscow!
