Matreshkas on the Old Arbat
The traditional symbol of russian culture is Matreshka (also spelled Matryoshka), which is a set of nesting dolls. Most of them are exclusive author's works made by famous russian artists. Every doll (except the last one, the smallest) consists of two parts. The smaller doll inserts into the bigger one. Thus dolls (sometimes up to 30) can be combined inside the biggest doll - Matreshka. The size of the biggest doll can run up to 15 inches whereas the smallest - 0,1 inches! All dolls are made from natural wood.

I found Arthur's details via a google search and discovered lots of excellent testimonials regarding his services for my trip to Moscow, and I was not disappointed! From the meeting at the airport to catching a train to Nizhny Novgorod Arthur took care of everything. Being English I feel that our customer service standards have slipped, but it is a breath of fresh air to find this standard of exceptional service does still exist! Without Arthur my trip to Russia would have been very mediocre, as I was travelling alone to visit a friend. Please if you are travelling to Moscow don't take a chance book Arthur; he is not only an excellent driver and guide with a geat deal of enthusiasm and passion for his city but also a gentleman and a friend. I will be returning to Moscow and the first person that I will contact before the visa office is Arthur. All the best to you, you are a top man!!! Neil Smith England!:)
