Marcello is Federal Lawyer, works on Brazil Government. It was his first trip to Europe. Moscow was the first destination. He was in Moscow 4 days and then I saw him off to St. Petersburg, then – Germany (final of World Football Championship 2006, in hope that it will be Brazil team there), then Sophia and Prague.

Here is one instructive story…

On the first day, actually evening, then I met him at the Moscow Domodedovo airport, we have got some problem with accommodation, which he booked in advance. It was one hostel (I will not mention the name, in case of promotion it in Internet). This hostel looked very dangerous and cheap, it was good only for brave students, but definitely not for the lawyer. Very small room and only one double bed with chair were inside. The restroom is common as like the kitchen. Ye… who know what it could be happened there… I insisted to move from this place and was able to find a good apartment during one hour. Of course, it was a little bit more expensive then cheap hostel he booked and he lost the money for the first night, but new apartment was several times cheaper then room in Moscow hotels (considered most expensive in World). This apartment was very good: big living room, kitchen, balcony, air conditioners, restroom, refrigerator, washing machine, cable TV and Internet connection and even concierge downstairs and all this in 15-20 min walk distance from the Red Square! Compare the difference of living conditions with difference in price just in $30-50. Here I would like to give very good advice: Dear travelers, please, ask first your guides about good accommodation!

Arthur is simply the best! We used his services for an all day tour of the city, and it was like touring with an old friend who happens to know all the best places. He's also a fantastic photographer and since he shared his photos from the tour with us it was like having our own private photographer too! I'm pretty certain you won't find that with any other guide, even though his price is competitive with all those that I researched. Thanks again Arthur for a wonderful day. I hope to return to Moscow within the next two years, and will definitely be using your services again!
