Moscow State University is one of seven skyscrapers, so called "Seven Sisters", built by order of Stalin at the beginning of 50's to change architectural style of Moscow city after demolishing a lot of old buildings, churches and monasteries after Soviet revolution 1917. This building, which is definitely the biggest and most impressive from all these famous Stalin skyscrapers, was built from 1949 till 1953 using slave labor of prisoners from Germany.

Arthur is the friend you haven't met yet in Moscow. He was very flexible in taking me to places I wanted to visit that aren't on the usual Tourist trail. He is extremely knowledgeable and always on time. He has a great sense of humor. He picked me up at the airport furthest away from City center and took me to the train, found my seat, put my luggage where it was supposed to go and checked to make sure all was well. His pricing is very competitive, his English is great. I loved his night tour of Moscow plus all the other stops we made. I am willing to give a verbal recommendation if someone wants to make sure that someone this good is actually available.
