Geoffrey and Karen, this nice, sociable couple from Australia, were only in Moscow 2.5 days and they were lucky not only with the pleasant weather at the beginning of April (sunny, +17..+19 C), but also with a lot of interesting sites of Moscow they were able to see from the plan (itinerary) I provided for them in advance.

On April 7th, on the holiday of Annunciation of the Mother of God, they were very happy and excited to be able to get a special tour into the Grand Kremlin and Faceted Palaces of Moscow Kremlin (very limited entrance) and after this tour it was also unexpected surprise for them when they were able to see the ceremony of the releasing of doves by our Patriarch, Alexii II who ended at 12:00 the morning liturgy at the cathedral of Annunciation (former private church of our tsars) in Moscow Kremlin.

A bit later, I will post here their sightseeing itinerary for Moscow, which I provided for them in advance. Besides Moscow they also visited St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Hong Kong on the way back to their home. A couple of days ago they sent me a message that they had arrived home safe and sound and enjoyed very much their trip to Russia, as Moscow part (organized and provided by me) and St. Petersburg where they were guided by my colleague Julia Ivanushkina, who has also had only good responses from my former clients who hired her services. If you are planning to visit St. Petersburg as well as Moscow, I can highly recommend services of two excellent guides there:

Julia Ivanushkina website:
"St. Petersburg Wonder Travel Guide Julia"
Olga Miheyeva website:
"Olga's Tour Service in St. Petersburg"

Note: Please, check their websites and contact them as soon as possible because of they can be pretty busy, especially in summer season!

Hiro and I recently spent three days in Moscow to attend the 2006 Cup of Russia at which a friend of ours participated. From the moment we contacted Arthur via this website, he was completely professional. Our flights arrived and left during the middle of the night, but it was no problem to Arthur to collect us and bring us where we needed to go. He even helped us check-in at our hotel and when we left he brought us right to our check-in counter. Unfortunately, we didn't have very much time for sightseeing, but we had come all the way to Moscow, so we wanted to see a bit of the city. Arthur put together a short tour to take us around to some of the major sights (Church of Christ Our Saviour, Kremlin, Red Square, GUM, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, etc.). Being a photographer, he also knew the best vantage points to get some nice pictures. He was so knowledgable about Moscow and it was great to hear his commentary about the city. He also helped us very much in shopping for souvenirs and recommending reasonable places to eat. All in all, Arthur made our stay in Moscow so enjoyable and memorable and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who visits Moscow.
