1 day before Final in Luzhniki
The view on the sport stadium "Luzhniki" in one day before the final of UEFA Champions League between Manchester United and Chelsea in Moscow. This picture I took with my clients during a night tour around the most famous landmarks of Moscow from Sparrow Hills (former Lenin's Hills). Right in front of Sparrow Hills you can overview great panorama of Luzhniki in about a kilometer from other side of Moskva-Reka (Moscow-River) from a height about 85 meter from level of the river. It is there a great panoramic view of the center of Moscow city from South-West and Moscow State University built by Stalin in 50s (one of famous "Seven Sisters") located on the top of the hill.
Moscow has never staged a European Cup final before, made excellent job to prepare and organize the most easterly final in the tournament's history. The building of Luzhniki stadium was built in 1956 and previous reconstruction was here in 2001-2002 when they added new roof to the stadium. On May 21 2008 were presented about 80 thousands football lovers watching the final of UEFA Champions League between two English teams Chelsea and Manchester United.

Our brief two days in Moscow could not have been better thanks to you, Arthur. Our family of 4, including a 17 yr old boy and 13 yr old girl had a complete blast - from incredible WW 2 sites, memorials, amazing trips to Red Square and the Kremlin... we had no idea Moscow had so much to offer (we liked it far more than St. Pete -which we enjoyed too), I could not agree more w/all the comments below re: being on time, informed, and fun to be with - I would add that the ability to accommodate the needs of a crazy family like ours, your flexibility and willingness to "do what it takes" makes you a very special guide indeed... we felt like good friends after one evening together! I absolutely recommend your services to anyone interested in really experiencing Moscow!
