Lights of Moscow

Lights of Moscow

I took this photo in Manezhnaya square walking with my clients during "Moscow By Night" tour in one day before UEFA Champions League Final 2008. The Manezhnaya square with it's attractive old style lampposts was reconstructed almost 11 years ago on the date of 850 years anniversary of Moscow city and under these beautiful lampposts is located nowadays a huge 3 level shopping mall "Okhotny Ryad" with underground parking. This shopping mall is connected with Alexander Gardens nearby Moscow Kremlin and the Red Square.

On this picture, from the left, you can see beautiful building of State Historical museum which was built in 1881 and considered one of biggest museums in Russia. The architects wanted the building to symbolize all the best from Russian traditional architecture and finish architectural ensemble surround the famous Red Square, one of finest squares in Europe.

If you read only one feedback, please read this one. If you don't believe what I write then read the 17 other PAGES(!) of testimonials to this truly great person and his service.
In a desperate hurry to find transportation from SVO airport to the hotel, I found Artur's number on the net. About to board the plane, I called him from London at 11am Russian time. By 6.30pm prompt he was waiting for us to clear passport & customs. An hour later (passport control!!), he was still there waiting patiently. He drove us back to the hotel already pointing out sites and facts on the way. Our Moscow experience had begun!!!!
Over the next few days, he gave us a personal, professional service like I have never experienced in my life. He was always early (even at 4.30 in the morning for our return pick up), always smiling, flexible, thoughtful, knowledgeable, passionate, courteous and hilariously funny.
He is a guide, a driver, a friend.
Please, don’t look anywhere else. Artur is Moscow!
