Sheremetyevo-2 airport
Most international flights arrive at Sheremetyevo-2 (SVO-2) airport (35 km from downtown). It was built for the 1980 Olympics Games, and for a city of 10 million-plus, it's tiny. This airport has had very little renovation, and is rather dim and crowded.

Arthur is very reliable and courteous and punctual and very helpful. Hiring Arthur is a great introduction to Russia Moscow he showed me around and taught me a few words in Russian as we drove, took me to all the shops, sights and museums. If I had questions about anything he is always willing to find out the information and send it to me via email or bring it in hard copy. I would recommend hiring him if you need a driver, tour guide, translator, in Moscow. Yours truly Nancy MacNeill
