The Kuskovo Estate, nicknamed the Moscow Versailles due to its formal French gardens, is a perfect example of an 18th century Muscovite country residence. In the past Kuskovo summer entertainment residence belonged to the counts Sheremetev - representatives of one of the oldest and most famous gentry kinds of Russia. Three months ago today, Shondra and I left Colorado and boarded the plane for Moscow. I must admit, we were a bit nervous and very excited. Both of us want to let you know that not a day goes by without thinking of our wonderful trip; we fell in love with Moscow.
