Peter the Great and Lastochka
The giant and controversial monument to Peter the Great was erected near Krymsky (Crimean) bridge on September 5th, 1997. The monument by prominent sculptor Tsereteli was unveiled during the celebrations of Moscow's 850th anniversary and was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian navy.
"Lastochka" (swallow). is the riverboat restaurant near monument.

After two other consultants I work with had a terrible time getting around Moscow, I decided to hire an English-speaking driver.
Arthur was great! He is reliable and punctual (to the minute).
His knowledge of the city and its history is very impressive. His English is excellent and he has a great sense of humor. I enjoyed my time in Moscow and hope to return in the future. My first call will be to Arthur.
